I received instructions to pick up the Divisional

Inspector, North, and party at Castle Peak 14.30 hours on the

20th September, 1939, who then proceeded to Deep Bay where a

partly submerged junk was pointed out to me, the Divisional

Inspector, North, then gave me instructions to take a bearing

as to the exact position of the partly submerged junk.

The bearing which I took of the said junk at 16.00

hours on the 20th September, 1939 reads:-

WAN HA Point North True.

South-west Point N.70 W.

South of LIN TIN Island S. 60 W.

Reading on chart No.3681,

as Long: 113 Deg. 56 Min. 10 Sec. E.

Lat: 22 Deg. 27 Min. 20 Sec. N.
